I'm an experienced instructional designer who enjoys turning complicated content into learning experiences that actually stick. I handle everything from figuring out what learners need to creating engaging content that provokes action. My expertise spans the full instructional design process, including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, with a strong focus on the ADDIE model and other established methodologies. I've helped transform dense material into experiences learners actually enjoy and that's what keeps me excited about the work I do.

You may be wondering "Why instructional design?" And honestly, I've always loved that "aha!" moment when a concept clicks for someone. I naturally enjoy helping others solve problems and breaking down complex ideas into manageable pieces. Add in my passion for technology, and instructional design became the perfect fit. I get to be creative yet practical, designing learning experiences that actually work. There's nothing more rewarding than being that behind-the-scenes guide helping someone master a new skill or solve a problem.

​I specialize in designing eLearning, blended learning, and mircolearning training programs that align with organizational goals and drive measurable outcomes. Proficient in tools such as Articulate RISE, Articulate Storyline, and various Learning Management Systems (LMS), I create solutions that are not only visually compelling but also grounded in sound instructional strategies.

Learning Strategy and Design provides custom learning solution support and training strategy consulting to Fortune 500 clients and coaching/mentorship services to Instructional Designers. The Applied Instructional Design Credential, which includes several badges, is part of a program that focuses on real-world, applied ID / eLearning Dev. through coaching, mentorship, implementation/practice, and simulated client projects, utilizing the LEARN Framework (Learn, Examine, Apply, Revise, Network.)

CREDENTIALS
This badge is the culmination of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA). It is earned after completing the ID Fundamentals, Rise, Storyline, eLearning Development, and Instructional Design Process badges. Earners complete 400+ lessons, receive extensive coaching, and complete a rigorous set of learning activities with practice, feedback, multiple revisions, and the completion of simulated client projects. Earners create a portfolio that must pass certain criteria.
